KAZAKHSTAN PETROM TEST TUBING HEATER FOR PARAFFIN PREVENTION

In June 2008 N-Line Tools, Inc., Petrom and Tasbulat Oil Corp LLP in a joint venture completed a pilot project utilizing the N-Line Tubing Heater to prevent paraffin deposits in the Tasbulat Field.

Upon completion the tubing heater is successfully heating 180 barrels per day with 100% paraffin free results.

Before tubing heater installation, hot oil services were performed daily.

INDIA ESSAR OIL

Essar has found oil in another part of the block known as prospect-A. This find is estimated to have reserves of up to 2 – 3 million barrels of oil. The producing prospect – B has reserves of around 9 million barrels of oil.

Oil in the Mehsana block is very heavy and does not flow to the surface easily. “WE have managed to get the oil to flow to the surface using the heater treater technology. WE are waiting to declare the commercial viability of the prospect – A find,” the official said.

As per the norms, an oil find can be established only when the oil flows to the surface and with the N- Line Tools Annulus heater Essar Oil can now declare the find.

BRAZIL PETROBRAS

In the fall of 2007 in a joint venture N-Line Tools and Petrobras performed two well installations.

N-Line Annulus and Tubing heaters were installed and performed successfully.

VENEZUALA

N-Line Tools is currently working with PDVSA on project development. Tubing, annulus, pipeline and injections units are being designed to meet the unique problems Venezuala’s heavy oil poses.
